"PB
Passion" Passionfruit Wine
A light, crisp and flavorful fruit wine made for easy drinking
to complement the coastal living of San Diego, California
where it was crafted. Harvested and conceived by Escondido
fruit grower John LaMare and crafted by San Pasqual Winery's
Erik Humphrey, this wine's tropical fruit aroma and crisp,
dry finish is a unique and amazing complement to salads, sushi,
curries and poultry dishes. Also makes a great sangria: check

"Garnacha
Blanca" Grenache Blanc de Noir 2006 Off-dry,
slightly sweet, and light bodied, this is perfect for sipping
at a picnic or on a warm summer evening. Strawberries in the
nose, apples on the palate, and a hint of white pepper in
the finish. Also known as a "vin gris," our Garnacha
Blanca is a white wine made of red grapes. We pressed the
juice from the skins immediately following crush, so only
the faintest pink color remains. Still, it's not quite a rosé
and not quite a white.
Grapes grown in Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, wine made
in San Diego.
"Del
Mar" Chardonnay 2005 Dry,
full-bodied, lightly oaked for 6 months. Banana bread on the
nose. Flavors of banana, honey, and caramel with a butter
finish. A very smooth
and luxurious chardonnay. Grapes grown in Guadalupe Valley,
Baja California, wine made in San Diego.
"Ramona"
Sauvignon Blanc 2005 Sauvignon Blanc is a Bordeaux
French varietal, often called the "most food-friendly"
of wines. Our sauvignon blanc maintains the crisp and refreshing
qualities that are the hallmark of this varietal, while sur
lies aging lends a smooth quality. Aromas include nutty pear,
citrus, and litchi. Grapefruit is prevalent in the palate,
with a wet stone undertone (ever been in the desert during
a quick rain? It reminds you of that). As our 2005 is full-bodied,
it pairs well with strong cheese, pork dishes, and "robust"
seafood such as grilled swordfish. Grapes
grown in Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, wine made in San
Diego.
"Ramona"
Sauvignon Blanc 2006 Dry
and light bodied. Fermented and aged in stainless steel for
crisp fruitiness (no oak aging). The nose holds citrus and
"cat pee," while the palate has citrus with a lemongrass
finish. A spring and summer sipping wine,
or paired with Thai,
Indian, and most any Asian cuisine.
Grapes grown in Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, wine made
in San Diego.
